PHOTO 1
This photo was taken for the line and shape assignment. I took this image at a hiking trail in Dartmouth call Cornell Farm. What I like most about this photo is the how the light wood from the bridge breaks up the dark areas of the photo. My point of view was an arial position, getting a birds eye view of the bridge. The depth of field is fairly close for the corners of the bridge to to touch the edge of the photo.

PHOTO 2
I took this photo at a fort in Jamestown, Rhode Island. I selected this photo because it was my strongest image from pattern and texture. Compositionally, there is a flow between lights and darks in the image from the graffiti and the steal I beams on the bottom of the image. To take this photo I had the camera set horizontally to capture all textures of the image.

PHOTO 5
This photo was taken for the aperture assignment. I took this image in class, with many photography lights hovering about the cameras to have neutral lighting. What I like most about this photo is the how the camera in the front is in focus with the other in the background. My point of view was a horizontal position. The depth of field is very close for the camera in the front to focus with the background to blur out.

PHOTO 6
Looking at this photo, the compositional element that is most apparent is shadowing throughout the photo with the lights omitted onto Seth's face. I edited this photo to define the darkness and erased some bright patterns from Seth's shirt erased the unnecessary areas of the photo and also to express a more serious mood in the picture .
