Line and Shape
Photo #4
The location of this image was at Cornell Farm in Dartmouth. The subject matter of this photo is the corner of a wooden bridge on the trail.
The distance of the shot is roughly close, I wanted to get as much detail as I could with negative space as close to the edges as possible.
I took the photo in an arial view. I stood to the side of the bride and hovered my phone straight on.
My photo is Horizontal.
I considered the rule of thirds when taking this shot, The focal point of the picture (the bridge) isn't straight on but still stands out.
This photo leads your eye through the piece by the vertical lines of the bridge.

Pattern and Texture
Photo #6
The Distance in this shot was close up, in efforts to define the patterns.
The point of view in this photo is straight on. I wanted to express the repetition of the wall and make it symmetrical.
My photo is horizontal.
Yes, this photo follows the rule of third, having many different but not as though equal sections.
This photo is an example of both texture and rhythm. The texture of the concrete separates itself from the texture of the graffiti. Below shows the repetition of the steel beams in the concrete.
The one photo that feel correctly exposed is photo five, giving out both lights, darks and all the grays in between.
